Steps

Steps marked “human step” are ones only you can do: verapli never signs in, submits, pays or accepts terms for you.

  1. Sign up for Descope

The person signs up at Descope and gets a first project. verapli never creates the account.

    • Guided by hand

  2. Copy the Project ID

Open Settings, Project and copy the Project ID into NEXT_PUBLIC_DESCOPE_PROJECT_ID (and DESCOPE_PROJECT_ID for the CLI).

    • verapli co-pilot
    • After: Sign up for Descope

    Where: https://app.descope.com/settings/project

  3. Create a management key (optional)optional

In Settings, Company, Management Keys choose + Management Key, give a name, an expiry (30, 60 or 90 days rather than never) and bind it to the project. It is shown once; verapli captures it into DESCOPE_MANAGEMENT_KEY.

    • verapli co-pilot
    • Human step: You press submit
    • After: Sign up for Descope

verapli captures DESCOPE_MANAGEMENT_KEY here by plain code: encrypted in your browser, never shown to AI.
