A new domain comes with parking records: a www CNAME pointing to parkingpage.namecheap.com and a URL redirect record on @. Both must be removed or replaced before the domain points at your load balancer (the www CNAME can be edited in the next steps). You press each delete button yourself; the browser asks you to confirm.

Choose Add New Record, pick type A, host @, value = the load balancer IPv4 address, and press the tick at the end of the row to save it. Repeat with type AAAA for the IPv6 address. Each row is saved on its own.

Edit the existing www CNAME record and change its target from parkingpage.namecheap.com to your apex domain, then save the row.

Look the domain up on public resolvers such as 1.1.1.1 and 8.8.8.8 (for example `nslookup <domain> 1.1.1.1`). They should return the load balancer addresses.
Under Domain, open Redirect Email and add a forwarder (for example hello@ to your own inbox). Namecheap adds the eforward MX records to the domain automatically.
