Steps

Steps marked “human step” are ones only you can do: verapli never signs in, submits, pays or accepts terms for you.

  1. Sign in to (or create) a Pinterest business account

You log in or create the business account yourself, then verify its email.

  2. Accept the Developer Terms of Service

In My apps, you read and accept Pinterest's Developer Terms of Service.

    • Guided by hand
    • Human step: You accept the terms

    Where: https://developers.pinterest.com/apps/

  3. Request Trial access (Connect app)

Select Connect app and complete the request form. The app name needs at least 3 Latin letters or numbers and cannot contain "Pinterest". You press submit; Pinterest reviews it and emails you.

    • Guided by hand
    • Human step: The provider reviews it
    • After: Accept the Developer Terms of Service
    The provider says
Pinterest reviews the request and emails you after review; no time stated on the page [to verify] [1]

    Where: https://developers.pinterest.com/apps/

  7. Upgrade to Standard accessoptional

    The provider says
Upgrade requests are reviewed regularly; decision by email; no time stated [2]

    • Upgrade denied because the video lacks the authentication flow or a live integration: Re-record showing the full OAuth user authentication flow and a real API action in your app [2]
    • Upgrade denied for using login credentials or session cookies: Use OAuth access tokens only [2]
    • Denial you think is wrong: Appeal by submitting a ticket through the Help Center and allow a few days before following up [2]
