Have ready

  • cloudflare/workers: D1 is reached from a Worker binding; uses the same account and Wrangler login or API token.

Steps

Steps marked “human step” are ones only you can do: verapli never signs in, submits, pays or accepts terms for you.

  1. Create the D1 database

Run npx wrangler@latest d1 create <name> in the project and accept adding the binding, or in the dashboard open D1 SQL database, Create Database, give a name and optional location hint, and create.

    • Guided by hand
    • Human step: You press submit
  2. Bind it to the Worker

Make sure the Wrangler config has a d1_databases entry with binding, database_name and database_id; code reads it as env.<BINDING>. No secret is produced; access is through the Worker binding.

    • Guided by hand
    • After: Create the D1 database

Pricing

  • Free tier: 5 million rows read and 100,000 rows written per day; 5 GB storage total.
